POEM STARTER

Write a poem with the title 'Life Lessons from Death'.

Consider what Death might want to impart on those who can experience living, and the voice that Death might speak from.

Life Lessons From Death

Child, your mother is holding your hand;

I see the life you have lived and the many

things that you have accomplished. At

night I hold your daughter as she drifts

off to sleep. Honey, your mother wants

you to know that she failed. She wants

you to do better; do not die a regretful man.
