Deal
“Impossible!” He muttered.
“No! Please dad, you have to help me! I need the money.” retorted his son.
“You want me to give you $1400 for a beach trip and you’re going by yourself?”
“No dad, I’m meeting people there.”
“Son, I’m not stupid. I know you don’t have many friends. That’s alright, you don’t need a lot of friends. But tell me what this is really about. Why do you want to go on this trip?”
“There’s.. there’s this girl..” the son begins but gets cut off.
“That’s all I need to know.” interrupted the dad.
“Huh?” he sees his dad going through his wallet. “So you give me the money?” the son asked.
“On a few conditions. One, you treat this girl with the utmost respect. Two, no drugs. Three, use protection. I don’t need any grandkids right now, I can wait a few years. And four, if you get into ANY trouble you promise me you’ll call me first. Deal?”
“Deal!”
