A Wrong Turn
“Are you sure we should be doing this?” Asked Michelle. She stared at the large, mossy wall. Beautiful, but deadly. “Pshht, it’ll be fine. Here,” said her twin brother Michael, handing each of them a small potion bottle. Thaeti stared at it unsurely.
“And why should we trust you?” Asked Cal.
“You shouldn’t, but you have to, if you want to live.” Michelle glared at Michael.
“You’re the one who got us into this mess, Michael, you should be the only one getting us out.” He smirked. “Scared are we?”
“You wish,” she responded, snatching a bottle out of his hand and dumping it on the ground. He stared at her, shocked.
“But that doesn’t mean I’m following along with your stupid plan, have fun on your own,” Michelle said, walking up the grassy forest hill. “Really? This is how you want it to be?” Michael yelled after. “Fine! Have a nice life!” He turned to Thaeti and Cal, who both looked very nervous and unsure.
“No, no, not you guys too!”
“I’m sorry Michael, I can’t do it either,” Cal said, dropping his bottle on the ground, letting it smash into millions of tiny pieces. “Me neither,” Thaeti said, handing him her bottle.
“Maybe someone else will help.” They walked up the hill after Michelle. “This is _not _how elves behave!” Michael yelled angrily.
“Fine! But I’m still doing it.” He lifted both bottles to his mouth, letting the potion drip down his face, and ran through the entrance.
