The Energy of Life

A crackling energy fills the air, A force that's felt but can't be seen, A power that we can't compare, A source of wonder, bright and keen. This energy dances and it glows, It sparks and shimmers all around, A sight that only nature knows, A symphony of sight and sound. It flows through wires and circuits too, A force that makes our world go 'round, From lights that brighten up the room, To phones that make our world resound. But this energy has a surprise, A secret that we can't ignore, For though it lights up our skies, It also brings us something more. This force that powers all we know, Can also be the source of pain, A danger that can't always show, A threat that can't be tamed. So let us use this energy, With caution and with care, For though it brings us light and glee, It's something we must bear.
