The big game was about to start, and the best player in the flag football league was about to take the field. He was playing the best team in the league. The Monsters vs the Avengers. Connor’s team, the Monsters was 0-2, but the Avengers, 2-0, had a bunch of Connors classmates.

Connor was nice, always willing to give a helping hand. He was over shadowed by Jamison. Jamison was a bully, but acted super nice, so he was popular. Connor was also smart, but Jamison made him look bad, just to save his own face.

Connors main reason to be angry was that Jamison liked the girl Connor liked. Maria was super cute, and smart, and athletic. Jamison quickly softened up to her, acting super cool around her.

Connor had always been the best football player in class, but this was his chance to show Maria what he could do. This was it, and the referees called for captains.
