(ok so this is nothing like the prompt but i just HAD to write this today. I love it too much! its a small piece of my book that I spent a minute or two on.)

Adalia paced from one end of her room to the other while Anna sat at the end of her bed trying to calm her down.

“I can't do this!” Adalia shouted with tears in her eyes.

“I already have enough to worry about!” she fell to her knees with her hands covering her face. Leaf rounded the corner.

“Not a word.” Anna warned him as she patted Adalia’s back soothingly. Silently, he stepped into the room and sat in front of her. Eventually she inched herself forward until Leaf could wrap his arms around her.

“What's wrong?” he asked softly.

“Y-you’re going to be a father…” she said in a low, terrified voice. His face lit up.

“A father?! Well that's great!” he said, hugging her tighter.

“I'm going to mentally die! I can't have a kid! Not yet! I have the kingdom to worry about. I have to make sure we have enough crops being grown to feed everyone, I have to worry about finances, I have to-” leaf put a finger over her mouth to stop her and then grabbed her by the shoulders firmly.

“You are going to be an amazing mother, do you hear me? Everything is going to be completely fine.” he said.
