No Remorse

“This man, the man sitting before you today, is charged with the brutal, psychotic, and vicious murders of Susan Wright, Harold Wright, Danielle Wright, and Xavier Wright,” the prosecutor explained, giving and adding as much drama necessary. The prosecutor then turned to the defendant, Cooper Lawrence.

“Mr. Cooper Lawrence cut the victims hands off, and then proceeded to stab each victim 18 times, in their chest,” the prosecutor continued. “Once each victim was dead, Mr. Lawrence then tore all of their limbs apart, limb, by limb, by limb, until their was nothing but parts.” Then the prosecutor walked over towards the jurors.

“The People will present evidence, including forensics and eyewitness testimony, that tie Mr. Lawrence to these devastating and tragic murders.” Finally, after her long rant, the prosecutor sat down.

But across the room, “Mr. Lawrence” just smirked. He felt no remorse, no sorrow for those people. Though they didn’t nothing wrong, it just brought him pleasure. It was worth going to jail…if he even could. Nothing would be able to stick. Lawrence would slip right through this gorgeous, and quite smart, prosecutor’s hand.
