Window Watcher Meets Winter Walker

Crocheted scarf from 2019,

Lips smothered in Vaseline,

Empty trees reach out to dreary skies,

Winter chill squeezes her thighs,

Soaked socks from piles of slush,

Walk back home in a rush,

Streetlight illuminates the falling snow,

Window let’s in an amber glow,

Snuggled in heaps of sheets,

While snow decorates the streets,

A girl below wrapped in a scarf of red,

While she sips hot chocolate in her bed,

Through the window they share a gaze,

The Window Watcher mouths “happy holidays”,

She motions the Walker to come up,

The Walker is sent off holding a cup
