The Archery Range

Alright, time to go to my archery lesson. I hope it goes well…

Hi! My name is Isabelle, I’ve never done archery but I’ve always wanted to try it, I just finally worked up the courage to learn.

*At the lesson*

The guy at the counter greets me and tells me to head to the back where my instructor is waiting. I go in to the room and am instantly awed by the impressive arrangement of bows. “Go ahead and choose a bow.” My instructor tells me. I look back over at the racks. They all look so beautiful! It’s a tough decision but I finally spotted the one. It’s a medium sized bow with a pretty floral design etched into the wood. I pick it up and my instructor starts the lesson.

After a while, I start to get the hang of it and am shooting bullseyes left and right! At the end of the lesson I go home feeling satisfied. This has been the most fun I’ve had in a long time and I’m glad I took a chance and stepped out of my comfort zone!
