Till Death Do Us Part
Set in the woods at night in a nice cozy cabin in the woods quiet all around except for the sound of the night creatures stirring for a meal and the laughter of two newly weds wearing all black attire. An all black tux and a beautiful black dress cut short at knee length.
C: “Ahh what a beautiful night. Don’t you agree my love?”
B: “Yes darlin’. It is the perfect night for our wedding. Stars out, no clouds and the silence of the woods. It’s just so romantic.”
C: (laughs) “Yes let’s make this night the best night ever.”
As C grabbed his beautiful wife B they swayed through the cabins dining room to the living where they had started a fire in the fireplace setting the mood for a night of romance.
B: (giggling) “Wow I feel like a princesses who finally is getting her happily ever after.”
Spinning his wife and letting go watching as she twirls in delight C makes his way to the window watching for something, listening to his wife laughing in the background. Taking a seat B sits down at the table catching her breath.
B: “Hey puddin’ whatcha lookin’ at?”
Staring at C she tilts her head to the side waiting for him to answer.
C: “It seems our guest are here earlier than expected.”
He turns to B smiling.
C: “Shall we get ready to welcome them my dear.”
Looking back out the window C watches as lights flood the dark night as cars approach the cabin. Finally approaching the front door their guest step out their car as their lights flood the woods.
C: “Wow that’s a lot of bacon!!”
B: “Oh come on darlin’ you know I don’t like pig!”
Turning to his wife C walks to her putting his hand on her chin.
C: “Well then I guess we just have to put them down.”
Laughing B stands up hugging C. As they started going in for a kiss a booming voice echoed in the night disturbing the romantic moment.
Sheriff: “B AND C COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP. WE’VE GOT THE PLACE SURROUNDED!!”
Looking at each other they laughed as B mocked the sheriff.
C: “Well shall we get the music started my dear?”
B: “Yes we shall darlin’”
Walking to the radio C turned it on and inserted a cd marked till death do us part.
B: “Oh darlin’ this is the song when we first met.”
C: “Yes it is my dear. And it also the song we listened to after our first kill.”
Smiling at her husband she reached under the table and gave him a present.
C: “what is it?!”
B: “just open it!”
As C opened the present excitedly B couldn’t help but feel giddy herself.
C: “ no…! It can’t be?”
B: “oh yes darlin’. I found it in the ditch when we did that last job.”
Looking inside the box C pulled out his favorite weapon, a Thompson submachine gun and kissed it.
C: “oh Tommy boy you’ve come back to me.”
Sheriff: “B AND C COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP OR WE WILL BE FORCED TO ENTER WITH EXTREME FORCE!!”
Covering their ears they went to the window looking at the county sheriff giving out orders to the policemen and the swat team surrounding the house. Grabbing their weapons they smiled at each other as C grabbed B in an embrace and kissed her.
C: “Let’s start this wedding off right my dear.”
Smiling B nodded her head reloading her assault rifle.
Sheriff: “YOU HAVE TEN SECONDS TO COME OUT OR WE WILL FIRE UPON THE CABIN! ONE…..TWO….THRE-“
Before he could finish the count he quieted down as heard music playing inside the cabin.
C: “Well my dear shall we?”
B: “yes darlin’. I love you till death do us part.”
Bringing her in close C kissed her.
C: “ No my dear even after death my love for you will stay till the end of time.”
Looking into her eyes for what may be the last time he smiled as she nodded her head getting into her stance ready to fire. C puts his hand on door turning it before opening it.
C: “This is the best honeymoon ever.”
Opening the door and running into the night they laughed showered in the red and blue lights.
