When the trees have died, so does all the rest of humanity. Slowly, slowly and slower still does the rest of essentials burn out.

That was what it was like before.

However the trees had not died first, but last. And so when the trees died it acts as a final stand. The final stand of our lifetime.

After the trees all fall the earth would explode.

And the same way a star is born would a new earth be. And the records of the past would be unknown.
