Wants & Wishes
If wishes fell like rain old man, then certainly I am a storm.
For hopes and dreams escape my head, when stumbling for someplace warm.
Excuse my hollow thoughts my dear, for fear’s a want I’ve naught.
A look inside my head good sir, would make the terrors fraught.
If wishes fell like rain old man, then certainly I am a storm.
For dropping wish upon my head, has pulled the rope full taught.
