Twin streams intertwine in Cosmos.

Reflections of those that came before and those that come again, spiraling over and over.

Life blooms in Cosmos in a cradle called Terra, warmed by Sol. Terra harbors a race of sentients that she teaches to see the twins in the then, now, and after. She teaches them in stories of time flowing and space expanding, so they understand.

In understanding, the sentients thanked Terra for her knowledge she parted with, and thus began traditions. These traditions were passed on through all walks of life as it expanded across Terra, and through generations. But its potency faded with every passing of time and soon, the sentients claim to know her better than before, but actually distance themselves in this effort. They forget how they come from the twins.

Terra became saddened and hurt as her sentients had forgotten to care for her, and Sol tried to comfort her. As he came closer, Terra did not notice that the sentients were suffering. Just when they thought they had mastered their understanding of the twins’ energies, their arrogance led to their downfall, and Sol purged them with waves of magnetic heat.

Cosmos, watching from without, contemplates whether he should allow the spiraling twins to return again and start anew.
