POEM STARTER

Use the 'snowball technique' to write a poem, where the first line is one word long, the second line has two words, and so on.

Remember you do not have to 'build' on the first word - each line should use different words.

Can only

Take so much

Before I start to

Fall apart at the seams

You see me struggle and bend

Watching and waiting for me to break

Knowing how much you hurt me each time

I’m drowning and you’re the one holding me down
