POEM STARTER
Write a poem about saying goodbye to someone who you are excited to see go.
How might you use poetic form to highlight the emotions of this usually sad scenario?
You. Don’t. Deserve. Me. And. My. Love.
You slammed the door on my smirk,
My devilishly happy smirk.
Although the blisters upon my face,
Burned and burned, because you placed,
A hand upon them, making some rupture.
From a sunburn the other day,
Filled of our smiles and little flirts.
You said we were forever,
Now you slam the door on my smirk.
I know what made you leave,
I know what made you heave, butt.
My incredibly tolerant shit,
And how I made you feel happy,
Too happy compared to your secret little girl.
I know your secrets, it only took my smile,
To convince you I was yours, trustworthy.
But what you don’t know, is,
You.
Don’t.
Deserve.
Me.
And.
My.
Love.
