Exhausted and out of breath.

Jim, tried climbing up the steep edge of the ocean front. Disoriented not knowing what he was doing there. He continue crawling his way up the sea wall. Last I remember I was with friends. How did I get here ?

I looked back to see the ocean and I knew I had been in the water, because I was very wet and shivering from cold. I tried to remove my shirt but it was bonded to my body. The blood had dried and the material was stuck to my body. My hands were all bruised and scratched up. Still confused I’m trying to remember

how I got there and why was I bleeding from my upper body.

I finally made it to the top and sat there for a few minutes trying to get my thoughts together. I stood up and looked as far as I could to the east, but no one was around. I turned and looked to the west and there wasn’t anyone around any where. Where was everyone I thought, but there was no one as far as I could see.

Exhausted and tired I decided to lay in the grass to get my energy back. I must of fell asleep because when I woke up it was getting dark already. I decided to make a fire,so I could warm up. I had just fallen asleep when I heard a truck headed in my direction . As they pulled up two men got out . We spotted the fire from a ways off and decided to investigate. What are you doing here? I don’t know, I’m not sure how I got here. Are you Jim , we’re looking for a person that fell out of a ship. You have been reported as a drowned person. No I’m still here not sure about if I’m Jim or not I don’t remember much. Come on we’ll take you to the hospital and hope you can recover soon.

Thank you guys I’m very grateful. Jim’s memory finally came back slowly, I’m ready to go home , sure thing you have a long ways to go . Your family will be excited to see you again they had given you up for dead. No one knows how you made it to shore you were 3 miles from shore how did you make it to land? Jim just laughed I wish I could remember, but it had to be a miracle.

Maybe one day it will come back to me .

For now I don’t have any answers. Thanks guys I’m ready to go home. Be safe Jim, and no more falling out of ships. Not a chance!
