The dreaded day has come for Pixia.

“I don’t want to be tickled!!” Pixia rolled around furiously on the ground.

“Pixia! Stop your tantrum! You’re four years old already! Aren’t you embarrassed?” Pixia’s mom scolded.

“But I don’t need wings!” Pixia pouted until her cheeks looked like they would explode.

At that moment, Pixia’s aunt descended from the sky. “Pixia dear~ it’s tickle tickle time~”

“NOOO!” Pixia screamed shrilly as her aunt tried to tickle the ridges on her back where her wings have yet to sprout.

“Oh no! Why is your back so full of dirt? This won’t do. Go take a bath first.”

In response, Pixia ran off.

By the time they found her, she had rolled around in something incredibly stinky.

Her parents and aunt froze and eyed each other.

‘I don’t want to be the one to bathe her!’
