POEM STARTER
Door shut tightly, might the monsters come.
Write a poem which ends with this line. You may wish to interpret the 'monsters’ metaphorically rather than literally.
Monster
There are no monsters within
But the call of mesmeric whims
That bring the choice of this or that
That a warp of this
A path of fire to brim
Of lies, betrayals, so grim
That dull and dim the vim
There are no monsters here
Only choice that fail to dream
