A veil, so soft and humid.

Thick in the air like a blanket of haze.

I walk through it, lost. It holds me close.

Arms wrapped around my shoulders, embracing.

A miasma, a scent so earthly and sweet.

Dancing on my tongue, like dew.

Shapes abound, playing between mist and shadows.

Forms distant and dark, man, child, beast.

My feet sink deep in mire, grass against my waist.

How sweet I breathe in.

Fog so angelic in the air. Hanging low, reaching out and touching.

I could wander aimlessly, for a good long while.
