Snow Globe part 4

For once this follows the prompt, kinda…lol! πŸ˜‚

Blake easily slid the key into the doorknob of Allan’s house, he hesitantly turned the key and slowly opened the door. Blake then pulled out his gun and cautiously walked through the house, making sure every room was clear. β€œI guess he isn’t home.” Blake grumbled, β€œNow I’ll have to search for anything interesting rather than just being able to force him to tell me.” Blake began looking around for anything suspicious and as he did so, he came across a large safe. β€œI bet I know how to unlock this!” He said, mischievously. He then looked at the key where there were numbers engraved on the side, β€œ96734” and voila, it opened. Blake chuckled softly, looking into the safe. Inside it were stacks of documents so Blake began rummmaging through them to find anything about his sister. He didn’t find anything about her though, instead he found something even more intriguing. β€œHuh, that’s interesting.” He remarked, β€œA file on Lionel, Callie’s date that night.”

As Blake read the file he became more and more astonished. Appearently Lionel was the main suspect of Callie’s death, but he fled the country right after and hasn’t been located since. β€œHe’s the murderer!” Blake announced, β€œI must find him and avenge my sister.

β€œI’m afraid that is simply impossible!” A voice from behind him said, β€œHand it over, now!”

β€œAllan?” Blake questioned, slowly turning around.

β€œWho else would it be, idiot.” Allan said, snatching the file from Blake’s hand. β€œWhat are you doing in my house?”

β€œThe key from the snow globe is a key to your house so I figured it was a clue. It ended up leading me to this file about Lionel.” Blake replied.

β€œWell congratulations on your case, but get the hell out of my house!” Allan yelled.

β€œOk, ok, chill. I’m leaving.” Blake backed away, then pulling out his gun he said, β€œGet down on your knees and answer my damn questions!”

β€œAaah!” Allan yelped, startled. β€œOkay, what do you want to know?” He stuttered.

β€œHow do you have this file on Lionel!” Blake questioned.

β€œI stole it! I’ve been trying to solve this case to you know, I loved her!” Allan whimpered.

β€œYou loved my sister, as in love, love!” Blake yelled.

β€œYeah…” Allan mumbled.

β€œCome on! Fuck you man!” Blake groaned. β€œWhatever!” He said, regaining his composure, β€œDo you know where Lionel is?”

β€œYes…” Allan whispered.

β€œWhere? Tell me now!” Blake screamed.

β€œIn my basement!” Allan said, slowly looking up at Blake with a hint of madness in his eyes and a grin plastered on his face.

β€œWhat,” Blake stammered, staggering backwards and bumping into the wall.

β€œWhat, you don’t believe me? Go check for yourself if you want.” Allan said, widening his grin into a horrifying contortion of a smile.

Blake got so terrified that he dropped his gun and dashed to the door. When he reached it he rattled the doorknob profusely, but it would not open. Seeing that Allan was following him his only other option was to flee to the basement and hope for an escape. He bounded down the steps as adrenaline rushed through his veins. Yet he stopped short when a putrid smell of rotting flesh penetrated his nostrils. β€œWhat the fuck!” He exclaimed, coughing. He looked around and immediately regretted all of his recent life decisions when he saw the decaying body of a tied and strangled Lionel.

To be continued cuz my brain is legitimately friedβ€¦πŸ˜‚
