You said forever And I believed You said you loved me And now you’re gone You said remember me And I said always You said move on And I said never You said to find a new life And I cried for hours You said you were gone And I said you can’t be You said I’ll be fine And I said not without you You said that I’m forever yours And I smiled You said I made you laugh And I said you made me smile You said my life was never meant for darkness And I said it was You said I need hope And I said I only need you . . .And the only thing you didn’t say was goodbye
