I feel more than just attraction when I see her

A sense of home and the feeling just feels right

Society has a guidline a vison more like

Where he should be with her and vise versa

Religion doesn’t help in any matter

Where the bible created Adam and Eve perfect for each other

The anxiety if she feels the same

The anxiety if people will hate

The anxiety on how family will behave

But I can’t fake it for the rest of my days

This is who I am and Im sure family will accept me

I will not let other people’s opinions defeat me

Come out of the closet and join the LGBTQ community

I know Im not the only one and this community will become my other family

Together we’ll stand strong and create this a new normality

Listen to your heart and not this messed up version of society
