STORY STARTER
Write a scene in which two characters have very different emotions about the same thing.
E.g. One character could be very happy after finding something out, whilst the other is sad about it.
Happy
I blinked fast and hard to try to banish the welling tears away. I didn’t want Alma to see them. Sure, I was happy she was happy, but the self-pity battered my insides like a hurricane. Why couldn’t she be happy with me?
