Write a series of haikus about the view from your window.
Haikus have a 3-line syllabic structure of 5-7-5. Perhaps your haikus can form a series of changing time, seasons, or different aspects of the view.
Park View Balcony
Winter took the world
in the night with crystalline
covers that slow time.
A herd of cramped cars,
rage rustles through steel and glass,
like wind through the trees.
The raccoons take back
what they say is their domain,
skittering with pride.
