STORY STARTER

Submitted by Amy Blu

Never trust a survivor until you know what they did to survive.

Write a story that starts with this sentence. Think about how you could be creative with the genre!

Caught

Note: this is a really rushed write, I plan to edit it later on!

The parts of the storyline left unknown are up to your imagination, however I plan to add more soon! Enjoy!

My wrists are bound, rope tied taut around my disheveled arms.

She stands in the corner, occupied by the simple tasks of life. Yet something tells me it is more than merely preparing supper.

Something is wrong. The survivor has done the deed I wished to bring upon her.

I have failed my mission once again. Father had told me I _had_ to get rid of her, the last survivor of the plague, the last one of her mysterious kind.

She could be the reason the plague was brought upon us in the first place. Her powers were too great. She was a threat to not only the kingdom, but _my_ family too.

And it was my job to make sure it stopped. Yet somehow, I sit here in the corner of her dreary room surrounded by nothing more than the four cement walls.

_And the bodies. They surround me too. _

Because she may just be the creator of the plague itself.

Her powers may just catch us all.
