Lifeless

“You mean...You left her?”,

“Yes but!”

“YOU LEFT HER!”

“Let me speak please..”

“No. YOU KILLED HER, it’s all your fault!”

“I WOULD HAVE DIED WITH HER!”

“YOU SHOULD HAVE!”

Her body floated upon the water, hollow, all colour drained from her face. Not dead but lifeless. Her eyes were gaping dark holes and her once joyful face was emotionless and sad. She was alive. Just. But her life wouldn’t be worth living after this and it was all his fault.

We stood on the dock as I grabbed hold of his collar,

“What are you doing?” He questioned in a worrying tone. I pushed him as we plunged into the ominous deeps. It was cold. It was quiet as we floated to the surface our eyes gaping holes and our faces emotionless and sad.
