Stuck On An Unknown Planet
Being the captain of my ship is exhausting. The time, the effort, the dedication. It sure takes a lot out of me. I lost my co pilot in the crash. I’ll be arranging a proper memorial for him but for now we have to work on getting my ship fixed. Thinking to myself, it looks like it’s beyond repair. My crew and I are freezing our butts off working out here in these nasty conditions. Can’t seem to get a signal to contact anyone. My best friend Claudia and I are going to explore the planet to see if we can find anything or anyone.
2 hours later:
The storm was getting a lot worse, we couldn’t see a thing. We are miles and miles away from the ship and still haven’t found other life on this planet. Claudia is convinced we’re going to die. Unfortunately I feel the same but I’m trying to stay positive for my crew.
The next day the storm has passed , the sun was shining! Now that we can see, Claudia spotted a cave. Hopefully we can find something to eat.
As we walked through the cold and empty cave, I started to hear voices. At first I thought to myself “I’m finally losing it.” Then it started to get warmer. There were people sitting around a fire.
After going up and talking to them, they said they can help my crew and I get off the planet. They had a couple spare ships, that they used arriving on the planet. I thought to myself I couldn’t possibly take their only way home. Turns out, this planet is their new home. They’ve adapted to the cold and survived for over 20 years here.
Before we left, the entire crew buried my dear co pilot near our crashed ship. He died a hero. He fought every second of his life up till the very end. RIP Wally
