The boy was shaking and crying,sitting on the floor in the corner of the bedroom, he was tense and holding his knees.. there was a knock on the bedroom door and a faint “Bobby, are you ok?” it was Bobby’s mother. There was no answer so she walked in and seen him and the state he was in, she grabbed him and held him begging him to tell her what happened.. The only thing Bobby could say is “she’s gone” the mother replied with “who is gone and what do you mean” Bobby just starred at the ground with a blank face.. The mother said “Bobby, you can tell me anything and I promise I won’t judge you and I’ll be here for you.” Bobby pulled out his phone from his pocket with shaking hands and showed her a picture, the picture was of a woman’s hand on the ground in grass, there was nothing but the picture of a women’s hand! The mother said to Bobby “what is this? Bobby did you hurt someone?” Bobby looked his mother right in the eyes and he burst into more tears replying with “ I just seen red!” The mothers eyes filled with tears as she screamed “WHAT!?” and Bobby just looked down and said “ She cheated on me, I seen her with another man, I invited her to hang out later that day and we went on a drive, I told her we were going to go out to a quiet place where we could lay and look at the stars, once we got there I just seen red and attacked her!” The mother just starred at her son in shock! “I killed her and then threw her in the woods, I took a picture of her but I have no idea why I did, I went to delete the picture but decided to crop everything out besides her hand because I couldn’t bare seeing what I did to her but I wanted something to hold onto a picture or something so I just kept part of the picture which was her hand, I know it seems odd and I still don’t even know why I took it at all but I just felt the need to, I just stare at her hand sobbing and wondering what I have done..” Bobby’s mother looked down and back up at Bobby’s face and said “Delete the picture! You can not have that on your phone Bobby!” Bobby looked down an replied with “ I can’t mom I don’t know why but even though I killed her I still need part of her, just something to hold onto and all I have now is this picture of her hand, her sweet beautiful hand!” The mother replied with “we have to find a way to get you out of this mess and your phone with that picture on it will not help!” Bobby replied with “I can’t delete it, besides I decided to turn myself in, I did something horrible I have to pay the price..” The mother looked at Bobby and started rubbing his shoulder! She said “I honestly don’t know what to say or do” with tears streaming down her face. Bobby stood up and hugged and kissed his mom and said “this is what I have to do, I can’t run and hide, I’ll be caught anyway, I’m done and I love you” Bobby then walked into the living room and put his shoes on and said “I need you to escort me to the police station” and that was the end of it all.. Bobby’s mother took him to the police station and stood by her sons side the whole time he spoke to the police about what happened.. Both crying and shaking they gave eachother one last hug and parted ways.. Bobby’s mother watched as her son was handcuffed and led away and she couldn’t believe that this even happened.. tears were flowing out of her eyes as she turned around and walked to her car to drive away and go back home. The mother regretted going with her son to turn him in but she knew it needed to be done and that there needed to be justice for the girls family. The mother sobbed all the way home and when she got home she went straight to her bed to cover up and sob for days on end. Bobby got to prison and laid in his cell in tears!
