Write a story from the perspective of someone in this image (perhaps we cannot see them, but they're there).

Within The Ice

There was no feeling. No feeling in any of my limbs, I just simply was. For the longest time, I had been stuck, trapped in this hell. I don’t remember a time before I was here. Maybe I had wanted to be in this place, this ship, at some point. I know i’m wearing some sort of suit, as is the man in front of me. I don’t remember his name, if he ever had one. All of my memories had melted to time. All I could feel, all I could see, all I know is what is currently in front of me. I stared, my eyes wide open, staring ever-seeing at the body of a man, also trapped in ice, staring back. I could never tell if he was like me, seeing and knowing only what was there, or if he was asleep. I can’t remember him, who he might’ve been. Nothing ever changed in this hell, every second every hour stayed the same. Yet, even as my thoughts devolved, even as I grew mad within the ice, even as I had given up on my humanity, I could hear something. It was something new, something had finally changed. I stare at the man in front of me like he had answers, but he had not been making the noise. The noise had been coming from outside of this gray room. More sounds overwhelm my senses, what was once quiet and maddening is now a screech piercing through my sensitive ears. If I could scream I would, but I was not human, not even an animal. I was simply an object, not really there, forced to stay in one place, one position for all eternity.
