Red filled his vision

He thought that’s all he’d see

When he entered the kitchen

He knew that more could be

He ran outside of the building

Hoping to get away

He felt his dread start filling

As he missed his pay-day

Rubble fell around him

People tried to scream

But the doors were blocked in

And they were turned to cream

He ran and ran and ran

Until his legs fell out

Short was his life span

He couldn’t even shout
