warmth

You’re gentle, yet you are rough You’re quiet, yet you are loud You’re gaze is warm, yet sharp All combined into the horrible person you are I think I can love you, yet I regret my decisions I think I can fall in love, yet I still stand waiting to fall I think I can give in to your touch, yet I doubt that wondrous feeling All combined into the horrible person you are “I swear, I’ll kill you if you do,” he said “I swear, I’ll slit your throat,” he said “I swear, I’ll point a gun to your head,” he said All combined into the horrible person you are I was right, he pointed a gun at me I was right, he abused me I was right, he manipulated me All combined into the horrible person you are I’m losing breath, he’s killing me I’m losing breath, his cold, pale hands strangling me I’m losing breath, I shouldn’t have gotten into this All combined into the horrible person you are Gone, I lie there cold and soulless Gone, I am yet another victim of him Gone, a victim of a demon
