STORY STARTER
The first sentence of your story starts with ‘Birds circled overhead’.
Think about how the type of birds you choose can symbolise the themes of the story.
Emil
The birds circled overhead as Emil sat on the floor the grass still somewhat wet beneath him from the cold nights before it was still cold of course but it was brighter, and louder, it feels more alive but chances are none of that really needs to be said. He leans against the tree stood behind him, It’s not _that_ bad really, or better put _it could probably be worse. _

But it isn’t, it is what it is and maybe he should be greatful for that, maybe he shouldn’t allow himself the time of day to complain. But then again he does after all have too much time on his hands, that of course being the problem, it’s lonely up here, it’s cold and it’s dark and it’s lonely on this hill and it’s exactly where he belongs, but between the trees and the rain he still has the birds to keep him company, the birds and the bugs and the snakes, and every other soul dammed to spend there life in this small corner of the world
