Voided Deception…

The flood flowed cold with inky blood And yet the wet sky blinked with stars in deep slumber… She was wild like poison, desperate to be free. Barefoot and running, so they couldn’t see. A deeper place drawing in the back of her mind. Where her words moved in circles, to outsmart time. A beast laid bruised within her heart. While revelations of escape danced in those stars. But the days grew grey and bitter as she stared. Drawing up misery in the space behind her hair... -HMG
