She was 10 years old, 3 1/2 pounds, my little Yorkie. My best friend, my companion who licked away my tears. She became terminally ill. I know it was just a matter of time, before I had to let her go. Gigi had to leave us forever. She looked at me with those big brown crying eyes ,knowing it was her last day. . The veterinarian allowed me to stay in the room before the euthanizing . She gave me her last.lick , as I held her paw. I’m crying now, just thinking about that terrible day.
