POEM STARTER
A photo booth camera captures the moment when a girl confesses something to her friend.
In a poem or short story, describe the image and let the readers infer the nature of the confession.
She Told
The timing, objectively,
Could have been better,
But I couldn’t deny her,
In that dark green sweater
Fondness so deep,
My love grew and grew,
Like a fresh lily flower,
After watching you bloom,
Which is why I whispered,
The truth in the booth,
I cannot contain it no more,
The hiding was moot,
Your face, jaw dropped, and camera snapped
Is the best sight I’ll never give back
Because that photo booth has the moment
The truth, our love, is exceptionally potent.
