The Light
l looked up. the warm light was so comforting. I heard Taney calling me. “NO! NNNNNOOOOOOO! don’t go into the light sister NO! NO!” She sobbed. But I didn’t listen. It was so warm, and nice, and wonderful. It welcomed me. Soon I was absorbed by the light. “Please sister NO!” I felt my mothers arms rap me up in a hug. As she pulled me deeper into the light, I saw, I saw, my body laying there limp, dead. Streams of blood dripped from my chest. And a bullet hole lay in the middle of my forehead. Not far away, a big grizzly bear lay dead. A gun lay beside Taney. Then it all came back to me.
We were on a walk in the woods. We talked and laughed. Then, a big fat hungry grizzly attacked us. The grizzly scratched my chest. “Hold on Tara” said Taney. She looked around frantically. Finally she found a gun. She fired it. I felt a throbbing pain in my forehead. And then I collapsed. I heard another gunshot. I heard a loud roar, and then a loud thud. I saw my sister panting hard gun in hand. She dropped the gun and came running over to me. She lifted me up and sobbed into my chest. “No, no she sobbed. And then it all went dark. When I woke up from my memories I found myself in heaven in my mom’s arms sobbing.
