They All Knew
The stars smiled upon us, as if they knew we’d soon join them.
The lights flickered in judgment, as if they disapproved they way we would pass.
The cloth ripped in anger, as if it were furious we would disappear.
The people stared at us, as if they knew that we would go.
15 months later, the stars smiled again.
15 months later, the lights flickered again.
15 months later, the cloths ripped again.
And, 15 months later, the people stared at us- in our casket.
