Fading Dusk
The cool salty air of the sandy calm beach tickled the palms swaying their sensitive large leafy wings. A strange creature stepped out into the basking clearing with hesitation, it’s dark nose chuffed and snorted as it trawled their hefty gray body against the white perfect sand. Disrupting the cleanliness of untouched grain and weaving a trail of imperfections in the flippered creatures way.
Rocks stood grounded in face of the ocean, their physique stubbornly fought against the glistening waves that struck the mineral with each powerful slam. Yet, the sea had and always will fail against the battle between the stone. Cries of white large feathered avians called out with each splash of water that got too close up in rivalry of their fortress of defence, almost insulted by the attempts of nature licking up against their nests where their future rested.
Despite all of this, the ocean beamed, it's spirit full of life, nonetheless the sky itself blurring. In the horizon of the clouded sky a ball of ferocious blaze was falling into the Earth, the endless liquid dragged the tremendous fireball into itself. Like a greedy thief stealing the prized jewel of ancient temples, the ocean continued on, the dusk disappearing. Each pull the beach darkened until finally, fading away, the dusk left the sky and a drowsy thief settled down to rest.
