Like a tidal wave, You come and go in waves

As age increases, you become foggy and then you start to fade

You think you have it forever , so you don’t treasure it while it’s here

In a blink of an eye it’s gone and all your awareness disappears

Sorrows of sadness, feeling lost in the dark abyss

Memories flooding back at once, leaves you in such bliss

Only here for a moment they can’t always stay

Why did I take you for granted, I feel it’s now much too late

Trying to find who I was, now I can’t focus on who I am

Soon be , I’ll forget this too and regret will be delivered again

The feeling of indescribable loss leaves you in misery and despair

If only the fog would clear out so I can catch just a breath of air

I didn’t think it would be like this, For the everlasting is what you were meant to be

So I’m left with one question - Where did you go, Memories?
