Divine Journey

Skulking in the debris,

Crawling through the gates.

Holding our fates,

In the City of Dis.

Sneaking amongst the lost,

Hiding in the shadows.

Hearing the Styx flows,

Squeezing our coins as cost.

Paying the ferryman,

With silver and gold.

Passage bought and sold,

Accepting Everyman.

At the far shore landed,

Journey neverending.

Agony unrelenting,

Our souls branded.
