Weeping Sol

How we wound the Sol

With teeth, blades, and tongues of gold

It weeps sultry fire as it crawls,

To a tranquil realm God crafted olde

I beseech the Sol to stay

But it’s wails crescendo to a shrill,

Enow! It bellows, fire cascading upon the vale

Forsooth, humanity are unworthy with poor will

Nay! I cry,

We are flawed, true! We love you!

The Sol disregards me and descends without comply

I choke and keel unto the seering soil, heart slew

Squander the Sol and the darkness shall bloom!

I afeard the worst hath come,

I scream and claw my chest, wishing I were in some ashen tomb

Woe, we are naught without the Solβ€” scum!

A choir of unearthly cackles ascend

My senses stingβ€” poisoned,

The Sol is no longer the realms legend

The darkness hath been summoned

A foe that devours all that is good

O’ Humanity,

We have lost this feud
