Down comes the rain I hear a loud noise, it sounds like a plane. I close the shades for the night. I tell my mom to sleep tight. I’ve been her aid for the past month. She wasn’t even supposed to make it a week. This is the opposite of my peak. I’ve never felt so desperate that someone would come cure her pain. She drifts away, then down comes more rain.
