Footsteps In The Snow

I can hear their footsteps getting closer. They’re getting ever nearer to me, these loud and aggressive beings with their threatening looking tools. I didn’t mean for them to find me, this was a trip of learning for me and my child. But they’ve come to close, their intentions are harmful. I’ll assume their shape and when the moment is right, I’ll ensure they never hurt anyone again.
