Think Your Funny? Then I’ll Be Hilarious.

⚠️ TW: **abuse**. ⚠️

Momma never really liked to take me to school, she would sometimes just say that she needs to drink her magical drink, and then she would fall asleep.

Sometimes I had to wake her up, but when I did, she would forget who I was.

So every time she fell asleep, I would call papa and tell him.

He always sounded mad at momma, but he never shouted at me.

I remember one time when momma wouldnt wake up, so I called the special number that papa told me to call.

“ **911 whats your emergency**?”

Papa told me on the phone to go in the amberlamps with momma.

( _Ambulance *, its just seven year old speak _)The people in blue outfits kept punching mommas heart, and they wouldnt stop.

I cried an screamed so they could stop, but they didnt until one of them said

“ **She’s back**.”

Papa showed up at the hospital in a few hours.

He first hugged me, which made me happy.

He went in to check on momma, and I could hear them using big words that papa says I cant use.

Then it was really loud.

I remember when we went home, the drive was scary.

Momma kept crying, saying sorry to papa.

It was even scarier when Papa never responded to her, all he did was keep driving.

When we finally got home, Papa started packing his bag, and one for me too.

Mama was mad I think, because she threw something at him.

Instead she hit me, only in the arm.

It was scary when Papa grabbed me, and put us in the car.

I never got to say bye to Momma.

Its been 20 years and now.. I have kids of my own.

I now understand why we left.

I reunited with my mom when I turned 16, but she was controlling, more than ever.

Papa said I didnt have to meet with her if i didnt want to, but I needed to.

Wrong choice.

I met with her at an extravagant resturaunt.

She never told me how she missed me, or of she even cared when I left, nor did she express any love for me.

After I calmed her down, I told her about dad and I’s life, my husband, and my kids.

She just snorted.

“ **Sounds like you arent working a very good paying job, huh?**”

She tried to mock me.

But what she didnt know..

“..**Is that I own this resturaunt.**”

I told her calmly, her face melted into a look of horror.

Oh, the irony..

My husband finally picked both of us up, mom was silent.

“ **Maybe someday your husband could work for my small bracelet business.**.”

Mom shrugged, smirking as she turned her head away.

My husband laughed aloud, “ **Work for you? Oh man, why in the world would I do that when I already have my own company**?”
