POEM STARTER

Ice Skating
Write a poem which could have this as the title. Consider that it might not literally be about ice-skating.
Man Made Snowflakes
**_I may not ever ice skate again
I wasn’t mature enough at the time._**
I’d fall on the back of my head and laugh
Because
**I loved it**
But Id bruise my ankle
And cut people off on accident because
It was an obsessive feeling
The lines you create
Give way to sweeping crystals
Caressing your faces
As wind
Brushing you gently
Making you **art **
In the moment who cares about a bruised ankle?
But if you don’t care in the moment
Than you don’t really for the moment
So I can never ice skate again
But I know now that maybe if I was more loving
Maybe if I was more generous with myself
Than I wouldn’t have been hurt
If care was the way foward
I would carve that on ice now
**_But maybe I will rollerblade
Maybe I will rollerblade
Snowflakes still fall somewhere
_**
