Victory

Your battle was long and fierce like fire,

A war ending moment for all to admire.

The banners waves high and the rivers ran red

The tree tops ablaze, flames in leaves stead.

The sorrowful cries are spread by the wind,

The roars of the victory gained by their kin.

Songs shall be written of you and your men,

Dare no one in future to challenge again.

But there is not joy in your heart, one thing is known,

Where there once was softness, now all had turned to stone.
