'I don't want to stick out like a weed in a field of wildflowers.'

Use this sentence to inspire a poem or short scene.

Shrouded

I don’t wish to be seen.

I don’t wish to be known.

I don’t wish to be pampered in recognition.

I don’t wish to be shown.

I don’t want your kindness or love showers.

I don’t want to stick out like a weed in a field of wildflowers.

I don’t want to be seen.

I don’t want to be known.

The shadows are where I lurk.

The in between is my home.

I am nothing and everything and nothing again.

Darkness is my love and silence is my companion.
