Behind The Trees

In the dangerous night,

Where there is one to guide thee,

There lurks a strange fright,

Behind the Looming Trees.

A creature none can see,

Haunts the borders,

A place no one can be,

It’s the King’s orders.

The villagers, they dare not leave,

For they stay in the comfort of the town,

As they believe,

They are safe in the home.

The noblemen they try,

They search the libraries and the archives,

For ways to scare away,

The thing that threatens their lives.

But little do they know,

This monster will not leave,

And it soon shall deliver the Death Blow,

On the village that fears the moonlit trees.
