The light is scarce,

Yet hope glows

In two scarred hands.

Yet peace shines

In His pierced side.

The darkness is dangerous,

The light hard to reach,

Yet safety lies

In His arms stretched wide.

The darkness is heavy,

But it has not won,

For light still shines

In God's only Son.

He vanquished the darkness,

He defeated the grave.

He rose again,

Jesus Christ is His Name.

He offers salvation,

For everyone, for all.

All you must do is accept it,

And into His arms, fall.

Sing praise to our King,

To the Lord of all Lords!

To His might and His power,

For His mercy is more.
