What did you do?
For the world to turn its back?
I’d assume you to be evil,
For you to not follow its path
What did you do?
To cause the stars to lose their way?
I’d assume you to be like us,
For you to wander astray
What did you do?
When you caused the ground to shake?
I’d assume you to be different
For being the one to walk away
What did I do?
When I chose to follow you?
I’d assume I’d lost my mind
For this feels wonderful
Choosing the path
The universe didn’t lead me to.
